AHS 10th Grade Student Jude Manning was recognized in the March Board meeting with a Badger Pride Award. Jude is part of a teen mentorship program called “Beyond the Lens” taught by the professional photographer, Annie Leibovitz. Students were given the prompt, “We are…” and told to take a photo that depicts this phrase. Jude chose to portray “We are Escapist” in his digital self-portrait. His photo and artist statement were selected to be on display at Crystal Bridges Museum. Jude is a student in the Virtual Arkansas Digital Photography I class taught by Ashley White.
