December & January Recap for Arkadelphia High School

AHS GT VOLUNTEERS FOR TOY DISTRIBUTION

.

Some of our AHS GT Students volunteered to help set up for the Lighthouse Ministries Christmas toy distribution. These students helped organize, clean, and make sure toys were in working order. This event is a blessing to many families in our community.

Merry Book-mas

Mr. Paul Sivils and his library aides got creative with their decorations this year. They built their Christmas tree out of books that had been donated to the library. Some of Mrs. Rose Easley's students also helped spread the Badger holiday spirit by decorating a tree in the classroom! 🎄

.

FCCLA Donates to Nursing Home

Our FCCLA members collected blankets, gloves, and hats to be donated to residents of two of our local nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Ms. Robin Jones, FCCLA faculty adviser, delivered those items this morning to Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation and Nightingale Arkadelphia.

Annual Christmas Luncheon

.

Before we left for Christmas Break, our staff celebrated the end of the semester at the Annual Christmas Luncheon. Staff members also completed the 12 Days of Badger Christmas giveaways!

We are very grateful to our community partners for providing awesome prizes so that our staff could receive a little Christmas cheer!

Counselor's Corner - Senior Grad Plans

Attention Sophomore and Junior Families!

This spring 10th and 11th Grade students will be taking the ACT Exam for free through AHS.

Mark your calendars to keep that date appointment free!

AHS celebrated Law Enforcement Appreciation Day! We are so grateful for the support our local law enforcement agencies continue to give to Arkadelphia Public Schools. You are the best! A special thank you to our favorite School Resource Officer - Dewayne Ward who serves through our partnership with the Arkadelphia Police Department.
