In the second grade study of animals and their habitats, students explored various ecosystems, including forests, deserts, oceans, and wetlands. They researched different animals, learning about their physical characteristics, behaviors, and the specific environments they inhabit. To enhance their understanding, each student created a project that showcased their findings, which included dioramas, posters, and oral presentations. 

Students in Mrs. Crow's ELD Classes had an opportunity to practice their oral communication skills and share special things from one another's native country with a Cultural Show and Tell Day.  Each student shared something that represented their Native country.  This was such a fun and friendly way for students to learn to speak in front of one another with more ease. This activity also left everyone more knowledgeable and more appreciative of one another and where they came from. We even learned how to speak some Papiamento from our student from Aruba.  Countries represented were Bulgaria, China, Aruba, Mexico, Cameroon, and Honduras.  Peake Elementary is very fortunate to have these students here with us.  

Students should wear tennis shoes (no boots, sandals, or crocs). Parents must sign up on the REMIND App, this is the best way to communicate with parents about important information, cancelations due to rain etc. notes often don’t make it home or not in time. Peake students 1-4 3:10-3:45 Pick up will be at 3:45.

Fifth and sixth students will begin at 3:30-4:05,

Pick up will be at 4:05
