Get ready to buy your ducks from a local Malvern Elementary, Peake Elementary, or Perritt Primary student!
Arkadelphia and Malvern elementary students are going head to head to see which school can sell the most ducks for the 9th Annual Duck Derby Festival, raising money for our mission of providing Healing and Hope to children experiencing abuse in our neighborhoods.
Flyers with instructions are going home this week, and you can enter any student’s name on the duck sale form at pdmcsc.org/race. The flyer is also listed below.
The class that sells the most will receive an ice cream party , and the superintendent of the winning district will get to ”pie” the losing district’s superintendent on video!
Thank you so much to these two schools for participating in the fun and helping our mission in the process!
The Arkadelphia School District's art teachers are proud to present this Student Art Exhibit!
Starting on April 16, selected works from each grade level k-12 will be represented in the Impressionism Art Show. The times and dates are listed below.
Also on April 16th, there will be a special reception from 5-7 PM for those students whose art is on exhibit!

I am loving hearing all of the fun times our students had over spring break – from getting to visit and play with cousins and neighbors to visiting aquariums, and even a cruise – it seems everyone enjoyed their week off from school.
Now that we are all rested up, time is going to fly by this last nine weeks of school as everyone prepares for testing and getting ready for the next grade. We are all excited about Perritt and Peake moving into the new school when we return from summer break, and for the fifth grade to become a part of Goza, joining grades 6, 7, & 8 at the middle school campus.
I hope your students are as excited as all of us about the chance to be a part of a brand new campus!

Each week, the teachers are looking for students who exhibit the monthly character trait. Please chat at home about ways that these traits can be shown!
