What's Happening at Peake... |
As a way to get into the holiday spirit, Peake students and staff had fun with the Holiday Dress Up Days. Dress Up Days included days such as Green/Grinch Day, Plaid Day, Holiday Hats Day and, of course, Ugly Sweater Day. We got to see amazing creativity, more importantly, students having fun and enjoying school! |

It's Christmas, Carol - the Musical |
|
|
Our fourth grade classes of Burton, Kingdon, Weems, and Blankenship held a Christmas musical titled It's Christmas, Carol!
It’s Christmas, Carol! is a modern, family-friendly musical retelling of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. The story follows Carol, a contemporary character whose life mirrors that of the classic Ebenezer Scrooge—successful, self-focused, and disconnected from the people around her.
The musical emphasizes themes of personal growth, redemption, and giving. With upbeat music and a positive message, It’s Christmas, Carol! encourages audiences of all ages to believe that it’s never too late to change and share joy with others. 🎄

Students in Mrs. Yumika Kingdon's 4th grade class were rewarded with Pizza With the Police. This class exemplified the CKH Word of the Month, Responsibility, and was chosen by Ms. Snowden to receive the party. A BIG thank you goes out to our school SROs, members of the Arkadelphia Police Department who show up each month, and Patterson Federal Credit Union for sponsoring the pizza. It is always a special time that students look forward to. |
