HSU Royalty Visits Peake

Miss Henderson and Miss Diamond Lakes came and greeted students during morning car rider.  They were so excited to be greeted by "royalty"!  We'd like to give a big shout out to them for putting big smiles on our students' faces!

Badgers on the Run

Badgers on the Run is designed to prepare students for the Little Rockers Kids Marathon. Students log 25.2 miles after school with volunteers before finishing the final mile of a full marathon. This year, our BOTR kiddos finished their last mile at the Little Rock Marathon on February 28th.  We are so proud of their hard work and determination!

Peake Chili Supper & Art Show/Sell

As always, we hade a great turn out for our Chili Supper and Art Show.  This year's art showcased the talent of local artists, Mr. Roy Marion and Mr. Sammie Landers. Our students were excited to meet Mr. Roy and hear about his experiences as an artist.  KARK Channel 4 was also there to hear how Roy and Sammy Landers inspired our young artists.

Pizza with the Police

Mrs. Gierth's class was able to enjoy Pizza with the Police.  This class really exemplified our CKH Word of the Month, KINDNESS!  Mrs. Gierth stated that her class is always polite to one another and willing to help each other succeed at any classroom task.  Congratulations to this class for being awesome Peake students!

Badger Softball Comes To Read

Thank you to the Lady Badger Softball Team for spending time in our classrooms reading to our students and for being role models instilling a love of reading!  The students absolutely enjoyed hearing the stories and getting to meet the team!

First Grade Presents "Doggytown"

Doggytown is a fun, family-friendly show based on the popular Dog Man books by Dav Pilkey. The story follows Dog Man, a hero who is half dog and half police officer, as he works to protect the city from villains like Petey the cat. This musical highlights themes of friendship, doing the right thing, and using imagination. With humor, catchy songs, and colorful characters, it’s an entertaining show especially enjoyed by elementary-age audiences.
