What's Happening at Peake...

Grandparents' Day Parade!

Our school celebrated Grandparents’ Day in a big way—with a parade full of love, laughter, and creativity! Families joined in the fun by decorating their cars with colorful signs, balloons, and heartfelt messages to honor our amazing students. They waved proudly as the decorated cars paraded by, showing just how special grandparents are to our school community. It was a joyful day filled with smiles, honking horns, and lasting memories! 💕🚗🎉

Peake Celebrates International Dot Day!

International Dot Day is a global celebration of creativity, courage, and collaboration, inspired by the book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. Celebrated every year on September 15, it encourages people to "make their mark" by discovering and sharing their creative potential, often through art-making activities. The event began in 2009 when a teacher, Terry Shay, introduced his classroom to the book and has since grown into an international event with millions of participants.

 See You At The Pole

"See You at the Pole" (SYATP) is a student-led, global day of prayer that happens annually on the fourth Wednesday of September. Peake students, families and community members gathered around our flagpole as these groups offered prayer over our students, staff, city, state and country.

💙 Capturing Kids’ Hearts Word of the Month: Empathy 💙

During the month of September, we focused on Empathy—the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. When we show empathy, we take the time to listen, care, and see things from someone else’s point of view. Throughout the month, students and staff practiced kindness, compassion, and understanding in their words and actions. Together, we hope we made our school a place where everyone felt seen, heard, and valued. Five of our students were recognized for showing EMPATHY! 💫
